REFORM UK candidate Victor Floyd has achieved a landmark victory in the Blackbrook by-election, capturing the seat from Labour in a significant breakthrough for the party.
The election, held on Thursday, followed the passing of Labour’s long-standing representative Linda Maloney, who served the community with dedication before her passing earlier this autumn at the age of 71.
Victor Floyd’s decisive leadership and vision resonated with voters, earning him 546 votes and securing a narrow but impactful win over Labour’s Sally Yeoman, who received 460 votes. Despite a low turnout of 16.3%, this result underscores a growing momentum for REFORM UK in traditionally Labour-held areas.
This victory is a testament to the appeal of REFORM UK’s policies and the hard work of their local team. It marks a turning point for the party’s presence in Blackbrook, setting the stage for further success in the region.
