Yesterday whilst out and about, we spotted a known shoplifter in the Jemmet Road area of Ashford and after a short game of hide and seek, we managed to pick him up again on the other side of Victoria Park.
It turns out, we bumped into him only 15 minutes after he had run out the doors with the stolen property. The good news is that he has been interviewed, charged with two counts of theft and shoplifting and has been remanded to Court. The better news is that the items were recovered in good condition and are going to be returned to the store today!
All in all, a good result for all.
