Yesterday saw the second of our crime prevention events in Medway, specifically focusing on the issue of motorbike thefts. Once again this was alongside the region’s Motorcycle Action Group who have been running their “Fight Motorcycle Theft” campaign for some time.
The event was very successful. It was held at Dockside Outlet Shopping Centre in Chatham (10am-2pm) and the event was consistently busy with people attending throughout the event, some of whom had come from elsewhere around the county having seen the event advertised online. Owners were provided with some security items as well as relevant advice about how to keep their motorbikes increasingly secure.
